Owner and master luthier, Phil Orlikowski has been building
and repairing guitars since 1989. He works out of a small shop in the Missouri
Ozarks where he builds unique custom guitars and provides restoration and repair
services to all stringed instruments.
Located on the outskirts of West Plains, Missouri, Phil is known throughout
the region for his skill at repairing and restoring guitars, mandolins, banjos
and more. Phil builds guitars based on his own unique designs and also works on commission
to build custom acoustic guitars, archtops and basses. Working closely with each
customer, Phil designs and builds instruments as unique as the individuals who
own them.
Hand Made Guitars
All custom guitars are entirely hand-made by Phil, one at a
time. Each one is carefully designed to enhance the beauty of the instrument
while providing superior sound quality and ease of use.
Commissioned work is designed to fit the personality, body
and voice of the individual player. Building a custom guitar is a collaborative
effort between the customer and Phil resulting in an instrument designed to
enhance and compliment the performance of musician who plays it.
Repair and Restoration
Repair and restoration services are available for all
stringed instruments. Each job is given the utmost care and consideration.
Dialogue with the customer is of vital importance and encouraged when working on
a musicians prized instrument.
